October 2020. Nearing the end of a doooozy of a year. Alisha and I connected via Instagram and set up a shoot while I was on St. Thomas photographing a few weddings in a row. We were in the thick of the pandemic and both itching for a creative outlet. A little break from reality and the opportunity to shoot some photos without any expectations or clients to make happy. So we met up at sunset and headed to a beach on the Northside of St. Thomas to see what we came up with. It was a breath of fresh air after a crazy year. And such a good reminder for me that it’s important to make time for creative work. To slow down and remember why I began shooting photos in the first place.
